Cold Therapy

1. Place the ice pack into 
refrigerator for 2 hours
or more.

2. Clean the wound first 
before using the cold 
pack.

3. Use towel with ice
pack simultaneously if 
feeling 
uncomfortable.

How to use cold/hot pack?

Hot therapy:

A.Hot water heating methods:

1.Place the ice pack into boiling water for 
5 minutes and then pick up.

2.Test the temperature of the ice pack
by using the back of your hand.

3.Use with a thin towel simultaneously.

B.Microwave heating method:

The ice pack can also be heated in a
microwave 
and the time can be set
according to diiferent microwaves.

1.Put the ice pack into a safe container 
filled 
with water and then heated by
microwave for 1or 2 minutes.

2.Test the temperature of the ice pack 
by the back of your hand before using.

3. Place the ice pack on the affected 
area.

4.Using with a towel simultaneously.

5.Ice pack can be reused, but the heating
time  on the affected area 
should not be more than 20 minutes
each time.

 

Note

1.For those who have
circulatory system

diseases and the 
elderly
should use under the 
guidance of doctor.

2.Use a pad or towel to 
wrap the ice pack to 
avoid 
get burns or 
frostbite.

3.Test the ice pack 
temperature by using 
the back of your hand.

4.Too much heat or
pressure causes the ice
pack rupture, which
